Zhou Dynasty （1046 BC—256 BC）—six Arts
During the Zhou Dynasty, students were required to learn Six Arts, which included rituals（礼）, music, archery（射）,chariot（御），calligraphy（书法）and mathematics（数）. Six Arts tried to educate students to be well-rounded. Men who were good at Six Arts were thought to have reached the state of perfection.
Tang Dynasty（618—907）—Poems
